This weekend, the UW Biology department welcomed prospective graduate students to interview. As a part of recruitment, there was a social hour after graduate student seminar where members of the department were invited to dress up as the model organism they study. Some folks came dressed as a blade of grass or a bat. Dr. Halmo and Dr. Theobald used the opportunity to dress as the humans their research teams study as biology education researchers - college students!
