In July Asu, Joyce, and Mara, all undergraduate researchers on the Enhancing Science Learning and Collaboration through Social Metacognition project, co-presented our research on student perceptions of social metacognition at the annual Society for the Advancement of Biology Education Research in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They gave an excellent short talk. We learned so much from all the attendees, and can't wait for the next conference!

Fun fact about SABER: Did you know that UW Teaching Professor Emerita, Dr. Mary Pat Wenderoth, founded the society? This year was extra special because the inaugural Mary Pat Wenderoth Lectureship was presented by awardee, Dr. Erin Dolan.
