Swasti Tiwari

Undergraduate Research Assistant

My name is Swasti Tiwari, and I am a rising third-year undergraduate student at the University of Washington, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biology-Physiology. Throughout my undergraduate experience, I've noticed how different teaching methods influence my ability to grasp class concepts, and specifically how working alongside my peers has always facilitated my learning. As a member of the Halmo Lab, I am excited to explore the science behind why group work can be an effective strategy for academic success by analyzing students’ perceptions of social metacognition within group problem-solving activities. Outside of research and academics, I enjoy playing tennis, exploring Seattle, and watching K-dramas.
